As every year, the prestigious Chilean publication La Cav has launched its Tasting Table Guide, where Chilean wines are awarded and scored after tasting more than 2,300 samples. In the 2022 edition of the Guide, Tabali stands out with the extraordinary recognition of its CEO and chief winemaker Felipe Müller as the Best Winemaker in Chile. This award, which fills his team with pride, is accompanied by the award for Best Icon Wine for Roca Madre 2019, mountain Malbec that was evaluated with 99 points, in addition to Talinay Chardonnay 2021 that was highlighted as Best Chardonnay in the country with 97 points.
In addition to these fabulous awards, the high consistency of the Tabali wines was recognized with excellent scores. Talinay Lítico Malbec 2018, Talinay Pinot Noir 2018, Vetas Blancas Cabernet Franc 2019, and TATIE Brut were highlighted with 95 points. These are followed by great scores for the entire Tabali portfolio, demonstrating great oenological solidity.
Pinot Noir is another of Tabali’s strong strains. Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate was impressed with Talinay Pai Pinot Noir 2019, to which it awarded 95 points, in addition to Talinay Pinot Noir 2018 with 94 points.
Robert Parker also added praise to the white wines of Tabali, distinguishing Talinay Sauvignon Blanc 2020 with the highest score for this grape variety in Chile with 95 points, and Talinay Chardonnay 2020 with 94 points, commenting that this is his best vintage to date.
